Hi the names Noel K, and I now mean to start blogging seriously, so please, please, send in bouquets/brick bats, comments et al!

Ok, so Susan Boyle wowed the world with her performance of "I Dreamed a Dream" on "Britians Got Talent" show. At the time of writing this blog, she has had 11 million hits on u tube! When she was asked whom she wanted to be like and she replied Elaine Page, you could see the looks of disbelief on the faces of the judges, including Simon Powell (of American Idol fame) as well as the sniggers from the audience, as they gazed at Susan, a 47 year old, unmarried, plump, matronly woman, who looked older than her age and has a double chin. But what I ask is... so what? Shes here to sing, not to be part of a beauty paegant, dammit!

Anyways, the rest is history.... Susan sang and wowed everyone.... including Simon. As for me, I long for the good old days of Radio, when what mattered was the "Voice" and not the "Looks", unlike television today, where good looking singers, very often overcome not so good looking ones.... like in our very own Indian Idol. So, will someone please tell me how Beautiful a Voice Should Look?"
